Hey,

Its been a rough day. Still trying to get ahold of what happened, trying to understand and trying to accept. I will someday.

Right now I feel like taking a step back and reflecting. We had something beautiful. It started on 16 May 2001. We became friends and then we fell in love. I've been falling deeper ever since. Five years on and I havent been happier, or more in love. But alas, there never seemed to be a time where we were in the same country. Strained. Five years of strain. Love, it seems, needed more to transcend such distances for such lengths of time. Attention, affection, displays of which I have failed to give her.

My heart bleeds, but it is for the best for both of us. We still love each other, but we need time apart.
